Hey there, music lovers and culture connoisseurs. It's Jordan Osei here, bringing you another dose of the latest happenings in the world of tunes and trends. Today we're diving into a fascinating project that's not just about creating music but also telling an important story from history.

Meet JRich Ent, a music and culture business based in Atlanta, GA. They're not your typical record label or management company. Led by hip-hop artist JRich himself, along with professional manager and music engineer JRich, they're collaborating with designer Jordan Daniels to create new merch, music, and experiences on their project MCMXXVI (1926).

But what sets MCMXXVI apart is its inspiration. It's not about chart-topping hits or viral videos. Instead, it's inspired by the legacy of the Safe Bus Company, the first Black-owned busing company founded in 1926. Located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, operating from 1926 to 1972, Safe Bus represented Black ownership, resilience, and the power of building your own table when a seat wasn't offered.

This project exists to spotlight a story that deserves to be remembered. Transforming history into a full experience that goes beyond music and fashion. It's not just about the tunes you can dance to or the clothes you can wear. It's about celebrating the spirit of resilience, the power of community, and the importance of owning your narrative.

In the words of JRich himself: "We want to tell a story that hasn't been told before. We want to create something that people can connect with on a deeper level. It's not just about the music; it's about the experience."

MCMXXVI is still in its early stages, but you can already feel the passion and dedication behind this project. From the music to the merch, every aspect of MCMXXVI is designed to tell the story of Safe Bus and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

So keep an eye out for updates on MCMXXVI as it continues to grow and evolve. And remember: in a world where opportunities may not always be equal or fair, it's up to us to build our own tables and create our own legacies. That's the spirit of Safe Bus, and that's the spirit of MCMXXVI.

Until next time, stay curious, stay informed, and keep supporting the music and culture that move you.
